For many years I’ve been confused with the writer Colm Tóibín. I was even approached a few weeks back by a journalist doing a feature on people with famous names. Unfortunately he worked for the Sunday Tribune and the very next day it went into receivership. So not only do I have an impractical name, I also broke the Tribune.
